Why we started CareZen

CareZen was launched May 1st because we saw a way we could bust some of the challenges we have seen first-hand in delivering virtual care.

Two months later of discovery and we have received so much feedback, so many ideas, so much support, from so many brilliant & generous people.

💡 Honest ideas for applications and models of care... a quiet, safe & private space, for DV victims to find psychological safety, a soundproof space for mental health patients to reset, remote and regional community nurses in schools, outpatient follow-up consults rather than travelling back to the tertiary hospital, allied health virtual speech pathology appointments for kids in the bush, a place to receive preventative care information, in the local library. GP's to connect with their residents, RUOK pod, Heart week pod, Healthy Living pod, Disaster recovery pod… Our idea of a safe, clean, private space for low-acuity patients to receive a confidential video consultation is only the start! 👏

A huge thanks 🙏 to our friends and colleagues in public, private, & corporate health sectors. The brilliant clinicians and colleges, and even Ministers and their advisors have been keen to give us their thoughts and support. Your feedback fuels our mission. 💓
